The Dairi Burger

The Dairi Burger is the annoyingly misspelled hangout favoured by Sweet Valley High students. The SVH gang often gather there after school to share dates, gossip with friends, and gulp down astonishing capacities of burgers, fries, shakes and ice cream sundaes - miraculously without gaining a pound. Events of note that have occurred at The Dairi Burger: the confrontation of John "Rapist!" Pfiefer by Lila Fowler and Susan Wyler (see SVH #90), the first appearance of Heather Mallone (evil...) (see SVH #112) and where Elizabeth gets onto Todd's motorcycle, and nearly dies as a result (in the parking lot - SVH #6).

Guido's Pizza Palace

The stereotypically named Italian restaurant where the SVH gang go to chow down on - what else? - pizza. Todd and Elizabeth have had many a date at Guido's. This is also where Winston tries to break the world record for eating pizza (he fails).

This is the companion wiki to 1BRUCE1, the livejournal recap community where we bond over our snarky nostalgia for Sweet Valley books. As you may know, Sweet Valley is a classic series created by Francine Pascal. It features the neautiful blind Wakefield twins-Jessica and Elizabeth, and in every book they satr in an often amusing adventure.

Jessica Wakefield

Jessica Wakefield is one of the two main characters in the Sweet Valley universe. She has an identical twin sister, Elizabeth Wakefield, and the twins share the same features-blue/green eyes, blond hair, amazing tan, general prettiness-the usual. Jessica is known for being more of a dare devil, and Elizabeth often has to pull her out of trouble. Jessica enjoys dating around, and hardly ever 'goes steady,' unlike Elizabeth. Jessica is also clothes mad, has an incredibly messy room, and hangs out with the 'popular' kids in Sweet Valley.

Caseys Ice Cream Parlour

Caseys Ice Cream Parlour - the place to be where anyone who's anyone hangs around. Regular inhabitants include the Unicorn gang (from Sweet Valley Twins) and Liz Wakefield with her motley crew. Famous for selling sickeningly sweet desserts that, once again, don't make anybody gain a pound (unless they're Lois Waller or Robin Wilson, in which case they have to get fat to aid the plotlines). Featured in most of the SVT books; notable events being Jessica being invited to hang out with the Unicorns there and upsetting Elizabeth in #1: Best Friends and #97: Too Scared to Sleep where they decide to become babysitters and subsequently nearly die at the rotted hands of Eva Sullivan throughout the next four books.

Kelly's Bar

Sweet Valley's resident seedy nightspot. If a Sweet Valley High character hangs out at Kellys, you know they're either (a) bad news, or (b) mixed up with the wrong crowd. Examples include: Jess going there with bad boy Rick Andover in SVH #1 - Rick gets drunk and starts a fight. Sally and Dana Larson getting dragged there against their will by some older bad boys in SVH #33. Psychotic Margo meeting her hired hoon James there in SVH #99. Nothing good happens at Kelly's! This bar keeps getting shut down but will always pop back up again in another part of town.

Bruce Patman

Bruce Patman is the richest boy in Sweet Valley. He starts gangs and attempts to rape girls, but is also a secret crybaby. Any little thing sets him off into either a violent rage or blinding sobs.

He prefers brunettes: his serious girlfriends (Regina, Pamela, Lila) all have dark hair.

This wiki is named after his car: the black Porsche with the 1BRUCE1 license plate is his prized posession.
